ADVANCED I BALLET

Traditional training in classical ballet. Emphasizes strength, placement, and precision technique. Meets twice per week.

ADVANCED II BALLET

Traditional training in classical ballet.  Emphasizes strength, placement, and precision technique.  Meets twice a week.
  • Tuesday 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, and Thursday 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • $ 70.00 per month

Advanced Ballet Technique Class

All advanced students are invited to attend a Wednesday 7:30-9:00 pm technique only class.
  • Fee included with class tuition.

Ballet Arts Schedule1— Thursday, September 3, from 3:00-6:00 pm.—Ballet shoes, skirts, leotards, and tights for sale at the ballet studio. Please acquire clothing before class begins. The first day of class is very busy.

2—Classes begin on the week of September 8-11 (No classes held on Labor Day)

3— Harvest Break—we DO hold class during harvest break.

4—Halloween costumes are worn to class on the week of Halloween.

5—No class on Thanksgiving—Thursday, November 26; and Friday, November 27.

6--The Nutcracker— December 5 and 7. Students will rehearse and prepare for The Nutcracker as part of their weekly class. Ballet Arts will rent costuming for The Nutcracker. A $10 costume rental fee will be charged in November.

***Classes participating in The Nutcracker: Kinder Ballet—Chinese; Beginning Ballet—Clowns; Elementary Ballet—Lambs; Elementary II Ballet—Russian; Intermediate I Ballet—Cherubs; Intermediate II Ballet—Mice and Soldiers; Advanced I Ballet—Waltz of the flowers; Advanced II Ballet—Snowflakes, Spanish, Arabian, and Solos.

7—The in-class Christmas lecture demonstration—for Pre Ballet only, Tuesday December 15.

8—Christmas break is the same as Madison School District.

9—We do hold class on teacher in-service days, Human Rights Day, President’s Day, Harvest Break, Spring Break, and school closures due to bad weather.

11--Ballet Arts will perform excerpts from the Ballets A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The Performance is: Saturday, May 8, 2021. A costume is required. Because we must pay for the costumes when we order them the first week in January. Your costume fee is due in December. Watch for a statement.
